It's been a while...

a LONG while since I've posted. So much has happened over the past four months the biggest news...


I'M PREGNANT!

Yes, my last post was right around Thanksgiving and I found out Monday Nov 29th. I am a little over 17 weeks along and feeling great! We found out we are having a baby girl! We both wanted a girl and really thought it was a girl, call it instinct! Her name you ask??

Madison Grace or "Maddie" for short!

So we are in full baby mode! I ordered the crib today and tomorrow I plan on ordering her crib bedding. I fell in love with the Harper Collection from PBK. I am not big into what BRU carries, to me it's all too busy. I wanted something classic, clean, and girly! I am so excited to get going on her room.

I'm starting to pop too, we stopped at BRU today so I can pick up a bella band although it wasnt the actual bella band brand, it's amazing! I'm not to the point where I think I need maternity pants yet, maybe I'm in denial! We also picked up a layette set for Ms.Maddie, I am in so much trouble!!!

The pregnancy so far (knock on wood!) has been really easy! No morning sickness, just the occasional gagging haha. I've felt like myself up to this point although sleeping is starting to get tough! She's also making her presence known more and more each day!

I go for ultrasounds every two weeks because I had the LEEP procedure done years ago for precancerous cells and they have to watch my cervical lining, it's pretty awesome because I get to see her more often then most people! We found out a few weeks back that I have minimal placenta previa, so no sex and no heavy lifting til the doc gives me the okay.....hubbs didnt like that too much! But our last appointment (2/25) the tech said it was pretty much gone so hopefully when we go on Friday, we'll be in the clear!!! Friday's appt is the Anatomy Scan! Can't wait!
